It was a pleasure to present a collection of floral suggestions at the inaugural Westwaters Hotel Wedding Expo at Westwaters Hotel Caroline Springs on Sunday 10th February.
I met many lovely brides and their families, as well as lots of local suppliers and floriography’s sustainability values seemed to strike a chord with many of you.
From the top left – my beautiful cornucopia filled with fragrant eriostemon, veronica, roses, and freesia – a beautiful, whimsical aisle decoration; my headpiece was made of sculptured magnolia leaves; a late summer wedding bouquet of bouganvillea, roses, hypericum, leucadendron, sims and succulents – all bound with string; an old champagne bucket filled with textural sedum and spiny succulents; deep purple eucomis and kale create a modern display and the blooming couture headpiece I recently wore for my spot in the Footscray Star.
Lucky bride Louise was the winner of the Blooming Expressions bouquet.
I’m looking forward to an even bigger and better event in 2014!
