It was around this time last year that my good friend and photographer Sharlene Annesley and I got together for a very special photo shoot in preparation of my little arrival – Blooming indeed!
In these photos I was in the last few weeks of my pregnancy and had been feeling terrific throughout. I knew I wanted a reminder of this special time so Sharlene and I spent weeks scouting locations and sharing ideas before this day, it was so much fun and I’m really happy to share it with you today.
Inspired by our location – beautiful native parkland in the heart of the inner west of Melbourne and the colours and textures of Autumn herself, I designed two floral looks.
Echoing the surrounding landscape of muted greens and timeless stone, I created a wild and rustic halo featuring spiky leucadendron, featherlike wooly bush and delicate roseberries entwined in a tangle of vines.
Are you considering maternity photos? I’d love to add a touch of Blooming Couture to your shoot, drop me a line – and allow me to create something truly special for you!
