Welcome to Part 2 of my Blooming Couture maternity photo shoot with Sharlene Annesley of Shar-Lena Photography.
Here’s Part 1 in case you missed it.
For this series I embraced one of my favourite combinations, deep wine tones in the leucadendron and trailing amaranthus offset by blue gum, peppercorn, and the incredible texture of budding acacia purpurea.
Autumn is definitely my season, and I find myself returning to this rich colour palette time after time.
I love to combine textures, the fluffy purpurea and joey fern contrast against the velvety amaranthus and smooth leucadendron.
Hubby couldn’t resist the opportunity for another cuddle!
Finally, no flowers in this last shot but I loved jumping into the ocean to catch the sun’s last dying rays -this was Sharlene’s idea – always listen to the experts!
